Between 2018 and 2025, Make a Change was delivered in Merseyside, Trafford and Lincolnshire by local domestic abuse specialist organisations: Merseyside Domestic Violence Service (MDVS) in Merseyside, TLC: Talk, Listen, Change and TDAS in Trafford, and Haven Domestic Abuse Service (previously SoLDAS) and Freeva (previously the Jenkins Centre) in Lincolnshire.

Increased demand for Make a Change
Delivery of Make a Change in these areas ended in 2023 for Lincolnshire and 2025 for Trafford and Merseyside, following the conclusion of local funding arrangements.
Demand for Make a Change from areas outside where we currently operate continues to increase. Between 2024 to 2025, 10% of referrals were received from outside our delivery areas, rising to 13% between 2025 to 2026.
Ongoing investment in the programme is needed to ensure Make a Change can respond to demand, expand access to support, and help more people across the country address harmful behaviour earlier. This contributes to better outcomes for adult and child survivors of domestic abuse.
