Make a Change Manager highlighted for International Women's Day

For International Women’s Day, Make a Change Data and Performance Manager, Olga Trilla Rodriguez, has been reflecting on her journey to working on the project.

To celebrate International Women’s Day, Respect has been speaking to four women working at the organisation about how they joined the sector, the challenges they’ve faced, and why they think women need to be at the forefront of this work.

Olga studied physics at university and started out working in IT consultancy, before finding her way into the violence against women and girls (VAWG) sector.

My message is really for women who want to work in our sector, but who might think their skills don’t match with the cause. If you have a drive to work for a cause like this, chances are there is a job that will fit your skillset, you just need to find it.
— Olga, Make a Change Data and Performance Manager

Read Olga’s full blog, and take a look at further thoughts from other women across the organisation, on the Respect website.

The Make a Change team, both within Respect and across our local delivery sites, is filled with accomplished women who make it possible to continue our work with people using harmful behaviours that prioritises the safety and wellbeing of adult and child survivors. We’re grateful for them all this International Women’s Day.
